- Breathe deeply.
- Be aware.
- Validate that you are.
- Ground: Decide that your are grounded, and know that you are.
- Release energy: this is a non-doing or an undoing– a letting go rather than holding on.
- Observe yourself with neutrality, compassion, amusement and forgiveness.
- Be receptive.
- Listen.
