10 Steps to Begin Meditation


Happy Meditating!

  1. Give yourself space to Be.
  2. Gather up your awareness in the center of your head—that space just behind your eyes.
  3. Breathe deeply.
  4. Be aware.
  5. Validate that you are.
  6. Ground: Decide that your are grounded, and know that you are.
  7. Release energy: this is a non-doing or an undoing– a letting go rather than holding on.
  8. Observe yourself with neutrality, compassion, amusement and forgiveness.
  9. Be receptive.
  10. Listen.
